The use of water-based media in Sarah's artwork offers flexibility when working in the field and in the studio.

Watercolours and gouache can be easily combined with other media, as well as being used on their own.

​

Techniques vary per subject, but often start with wet watercolour washes then leading onto drier brush work. The latter of which is used in the final stages to accentuate form, pattern and texture.
